Sam Shamoun Contradicts Jesus
By
Bassam Zawadi
Sam Shamoun says...
Indeed Mary is so highly blessed due to the reason that she was to conceive the
greatest man who ever lived; the Son of the Most High, the Savior of the World, Jesus
the Messiah. (Sam Shamoun, The Jewish Messiah And The Prophet of Islam, Source)
Sam Shamoun here is basically saying that Jesus is the greatest man who ever lived.
However, this contradicts what Jesus himself said...
Matthew 11:11
11I tell you the truth: Among those born of women there
has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the
kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
Here Jesus is saying that no one born of a woman (Jesus was born
of Mary as Shamoun indicated) has risen and was greater than John the Baptist. This surely
includes Jesus. So Jesus is not the greatest man who ever lived according to him.
So if Shamoun truly loves Jesus he should stop contradicting
him.

From me, Osama Abdallah:
| Important Note:
As Muslims, we do not believe that the Bible is pure nor original, and what ever is
attributed to any of the Prophets is highly doubtful. |
What brother Bassam Zawadi is indicating here is that the text and grammar of the Bible is
neither Divine nor is it original. There are many self-contradicting statements of
this type that exist throughout the Bible, where a statement is easily refuted by pointing
out another statement from the same person! An example of this is the following:
"Jesus replied, "Moses permitted you
to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the
beginning. (From the NIV Bible, Matthew 19:8)"
This statement is also as absurd as the one above! It is not Moses, peace be upon
him, who permits anything! It is rather GOD Almighty through His Divine Revelations
to Moses and the rest of the Prophets, peace be upon them. At
least this is what the Old Testament teaches us. Moses received his
Revelations from GOD Almighty directly and was instructed to command the people of Israel
by those Divine Revelations. Certainly, the allowing of divorce verses were clearly
revealed by GOD Almighty according to the OT:
Deuteronomy 24:1-3
1 If a man marries a woman who becomes displeasing to him because he
finds something indecent about her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce,
gives it to her and sends her from his house,
2 and if after she leaves his house she becomes the wife of another man,
3 and her second husband dislikes her and writes her a certificate of divorce, gives it to
her and sends her from his house, or if he dies,
This command comes from the book of Deuteronomy, one of the books of the Revelations
sent to Moses. Throughout all of Moses' books, we see Commands such as "The LORD of Israel declares.....", and then He gives a
series of commands similar to Deuteronomy 24:1-3:
"In the fortieth year, on the first day of the eleventh
month, Moses proclaimed to the Israelites all that the LORD had commanded him
concerning them. (From the NIV Bible, Deuteronomy 1:3)"
So the statement itself about Moses permitting and not permitting
is also poor and
self-contradicting in grammar and concept.

to see how Jesus, peace be upon him, in the NT allowed polygamy through his actions and
parables.
If Jesus in the NT is the greatest man ever walked on earth (we
Muslims believe that Jesus is one of GOD Almighty's great Prophets),
then Jesus should not
have said a silly, over-exaggerated and self-contradicting statement
such as "....there has not risen anyone greater than John the
Baptist...." How are we exactly supposed to understand this
statement, and what should we derive from it?! Should it be left up to us to
interpret the text as we please?
"there has not risen" is a
clear-cut statement that gives absolute recognition to John being the greatest man ever
walked on earth! I strongly doubt this statement because:
1- The Bible
is virtually silent about the details of John the Baptist and how he lived his life.
2- John the
Baptist did not perform any Miracle to even prove that he was a Messenger from GOD
Almighty.
3- As we are
told in the New Testament, John and the rest of the disciples ran
for their lives when Jesus got arrested:
"But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then
all the disciples forsook him, and fled.
(From
the NIV Bible, Matthew 26:56)"
How can such a
person be the greatest human ever walked on earth is beyond me!
This also reminds me of Paul's blasphemous "proverb"
when he tried to Glorify and Praise GOD Almighty. He rather, instead, ended up
insulting GOD Almighty:
"For the foolishness of God is wiser
than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's
strength. (From the NIV Bible, 1 Corinthians 1:25)"
The stupidity of GOD is smarter than all of us combined, and the
weakness of GOD is stronger than all of us combined. Quite absurd and
hilarious indeed!!

Bottom line:
The Bible is clearly filled with many absurd and self-contradicting statements that
render it useless when one reads the Book carefully and investigates its truthfulness and
authenticity. That is one of the many reasons why the Christians of today lack a
great deal of morality, and they are notorious in pornography, sex, drugs, alcohol,
violence and all other types of sins. They don't see the Bible as a clear-cut
book of guidance. They rather see it as no more than a book of stories and gossips
that were invented by people 2,000 years ago, and these stories are filled with many
absurdities, contradictions and very poor text and grammar in them!

Did
Isaiah 53 really prophesies about the crucifixion of Jesus? It supports Islam's
claims about Jesus peace be upon him never died on the cross. I also addressed John
19:36-37 from the Bible and proved that Jesus never got crucified, since GOD Almighty
promised that he will protect Jesus' body and not let even a single bone be broken.
My question to all Christians is: How in the
world is it possible for the feet to get nailed on the cross without any penetration to
the bones by the nails, hence breaking part of the feet's bones?! I also added refutations to Exodus 12:46,
Numbers 9:12, Zechariah 12:10 and Psalm 34:20, which supposedly prove the
Christians' belief about Jesus crucifixion. I proved that this dogma has no truth
what so ever and exposed the wrong Trinitarian English translation of Zechariah 12:10.
